What happens in the Get Started Session?
Meet with a dedicated certified career coach for a 1-hour one-on-one consultation to make good progress on your career or job search questions. You’ll discover at least three career or job possibilities and get tailored recommendations for practical next steps. At CareerCycles, we pride ourselves with our storylistening skills. You’ll be heard and feel more optimistic, whatever your unique situation, as our process is flexible and adaptable to suit your individual needs. Is all career counselling the same? How do I choose my program?
No! CareerCycles has been helping clients get what they want and deserve for 20+ years. We provide a holistic approach, which is tailored to your situation and needs. After your initial Get Starter session, your coach will recommend one of our Clarification & Exploration programs that will best suit you.
Who are your clients? What Industry or Sector do you work in?
Clients who are unsatisfied with their current situation. Clients who are unsure of what options are out there. Clients who want a career that fits their lifestyle and goals.
We work with a range of people from students or young professionals, to mid level and seasoned career professionals. Anyone such as employees, managers, contractors. executives, students, people wanting to re-enter workforce or individuals who have been laid off.

What assessments do you use?
We use our own evidence based Narrative Assessment. Unlike Myers Briggs which is unreliable and ineffective at predicting people’s success in various jobs, our Narrative Assessment Platform guides you through a narrative career & life clarification process rooted in your life story, followed by a guided exploration of your most promising possibilities. You’ll build a “Clarification Statement” which looks towards the future, unlike a resume which focuses on the past.
When and where do coaching sessions take place?
You’ll work 1-on-1 with , dedicated coach via Zoom. We’ve found that this allows for maximum flexibility for many professionals. We’ve coached individuals effectively around the country and world with terrific success. If you’d prefer in person sessions in Toronto, let us know and we can accommodate.
Why should I use career counselling?
Navigating careers and life is complicated. Working with an experienced coach allows for professional opinions and guidance on all your career questions.

How do you choose my coach?
By learning a bit about you and your story we can match you to the right coach. If for whatever reason you’re not clicking, we can assign a new coach.
What are your payment options?
We accept all major Credit or Debit Cards or E-transfer. Also, we offer no-interest monthly payment plans to allow for flexibility when investing in our Programs.

To help with this, we’ve kept our costs lower than our competitors, while providing high quality services and only employing a team of passionate, professional, and dedicated coaches to help our clients reach their goals. How do you maintain confidentiality?
The relationship and communications shared between you and your CareerCycles coach are private and confidential. Any personal data we have about you, including the fact you are a client, is also private and confidential.
The collaborative environment among our professional team adds value to the services we provide. On occasion, we consult with each other to maximize our ability to serve you. Confidentiality is maintained within the team.
