Jim Moore – CareerCycles Associate
In addition to his work with CareerCycles, Jim Moore operates an independent career consulting and coaching practice. His services include career planning, transitioning, assessment, resume development, interview coaching, and building effective networking skills. His clients come from a wide range of backgrounds including information technology, entertainment, education and learning, sales, marketing and communications, and financial services. Jim specializes in helping his clients explore and successfully accomplish changes in career direction.
Jim’s effectiveness as a career professional is founded on 25+ years in business as an information technology executive, steering organizations through periods of growth, performance turnaround, business change, and outsourcing. As Director of Managed Services for ACI Worldwide, a best of breed global software company, he developed and ran the company’s outsourcing business for Canada and the US, proving the viability of ACI’s products in a “software as a service” business model.
His clients benefit from Jim’s first hand knowledge of how and why organizations make decisions that affect their employees. Through his continuing professional development and business experience he has gained a thorough understanding of career management and human resources practices that affect all stages of the employment experience.
Jim currently chairs the board of the Association of Career Professionals International, Toronto Network. He also chairs the Sponsorship Committee for that board.
Jim has a BAA from Ryerson University, a certificate in Human Resources Management, certification in Myers-Briggs (MBTI) assessments, and is trained in the Holistic Narrative Career Professional framework used by CareerCycles.
